Douglas County PUD’s 90-year history is comprised of fiscally conservative, risk-adverse commissioners and managers. Wells dam is our most valuable resource and provides clean, reliable hydropower to you: all the customer owners of Douglas County PUD.
Douglas County has the cheapest power in the state and possibly the world. It didn’t happen by chance. It stems from decades of commissioners and managers watching the bottom line, cutting out unnecessary expenditure and keeping things simple. I am very protective of this valuable resource and have the 12-year track record to prove it. Customers I hear from are fiercely loyal to the PUD and trust us to do the right thing.
I serve in leadership at the state level (Washington PUD Association) and am a board member of the Northwest Public Power Association. I am proud to represent Douglas County PUD at the local, state, regional and national level. I believe in the mission of public power and am a strong voice for it. I want to continue to advocate for and protect the customer owners of Douglas County PUD. That is why I’m running for another term as your PUD commissioner.
